When starting a new game, the player has instant access to Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, John Stewart, Martian Manhunter, and Zatanna, but more characters( as well as alternate costumes) can be uncorked as the game progresses. These unlockable characters can only be used on situations where the player can choose which characters to take on while costumes can be used at any time.
In the game, players take control of members of the Justice League, including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, and more, as they join forces to combat the nefarious plans of supervillains like Brainiac, Darkseid, and Lex Luthor.
